What to Watch on Saturday: A trip to ‘Jim Henson’s Turkey Hollow’
Jim Henson’s Turkey Hollow (8 p.m., Lifetime) – In this family film, which features gigantic puppets, the Emmersons head to the quaint town of Turkey Hollow to visit Aunt Cly. Tim and Annie quickly grow bored without the internet and try to track the Howling Hoodoo, an elusive monster the locals dismiss as a legend. Stars Mary Steenburgen, Jay Harrington and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges.
Dr. Dee Alaska Vet (8 p.m., Animal Planet) – A local radio station helps Dr. Dee find a home for a special needs dogs. Also, Dr. Dee examines a recently awakened black bear.
Doctor Who (9 p.m., BBC America) – The Doctor, Clara and friend Rigsy find themselves in a secret alien world.
