What to Watch on Sunday: HBO’s ‘Vinyl’ looks at ’70s music world

Vinyl (9 p.m., HBO) – The premiere of a new series created by Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese that explores the world of the music industry in the 1970s. It stars Bobby Cannavale, Ray Romano, Ato Essandoh and Olivia Wilde.

Love, Hallmark (1 p.m., Hallmark) – The Hallmark Channel’s Valentine’s Day movie marathon starts at 1 with two movies that aired Saturday night (“Appetite for Love” and “Valentine Ever After”), followed by three additional flicks: “All Things Valentine” at 5 p.m.; “”Dater’s Handbook” at 7 p.m.; and “Anything for Love” at 9 p.m.

The Walking Dead (9 p.m., AMC) – Andrew Lincoln (Rick) calls tonight’s midseason premiere “shocking, brilliant, terrifying, epic.”

The Good Wife (9 p.m., CBS) – CBS announced last weekend during the Super Bowl that this series ends this season, so cherish every moment. Tonight, Alicia and Lucca join Lockhart, Agos & Lee.

Brain Games (9 p.m., National Geographic) – The new season starts with a tour through the labyrinthine city of London to illustrate how the brain works.

Downton Abbey (9 p.m., UNC-TV) – Mary, whose husband Matthew died in an automobile crash, has flashbacks during a car race. Also, Mrs. Hughes tricks Carson.

Tonight Show Valentine’s Special (9 p.m., NBC) – Host Jimmy Fallon celebrates his second year of the show with memorable moments, celebrities and games.
