What to Watch on Sunday: ‘Red Tent’ miniseries on Lifetime, ‘Librarians’ on TNT

The Red Tent (9 p.m., Lifetime) – The two-part mini-series based on the best-selling novel by Anita Diamant begins tonight. It tells the dramatized story of Dinah, the daughter of Leah and Jacob of the Old Testament, as well as the stories of Jacob's four wives. In tonight's opener, Dinah listens to stories from women in her tribe who gather inside a red tent. It stars Rebecca Ferguson, Minnie Driver, Morena Baccarin and Debra Winger.

The Librarians (8 p.m., TNT) – The two-hour premiere of a new series about a group of librarians trying to protect the world's mystical treasures. Tonight, a mysterious person is killing potential librarians, and later, the Serpent Brotherhood sets out to return magic to the world.

Christmas at Cartwright's (8 p.m., Hallmark) –A single mom gets a holiday job as a department store Santa to help boost her finances, and then an angel enters her life and brings about some positive changes, including the spark of a new romance.

Once Upon a Time (8 p.m., ABC) – Townfolk are at war with each other thanks to the Snow Queen's spell , and Emma and Elsa race to defeat her.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (8:30 p.m., Fox) – An elusive car thief known as the Pontiac Bandit is locked up, but Holt offers him a plea deal when Rosa learns he has information about the drug kingpin Giggle Pig.

Homeland (9 p.m., Showtime) – The security breach at the Embassy has far reaching consequences.

Merry Ex-Mas (9 p.m., ION) – A Christmas movie in which a divorced couple are trapped at a family ski cabin with their relatives at Christmastime, and the wife's new boyfriend is about to propose to her.

Eaten Alive (9 p.m., Discovery) – In this gross (with a potential element of animal cruelty) special, a man is eaten alive by an anaconda.
