Media Movers: Sheri Lynch honored for radio role

Another industry honor for Sheri Lynch of the WLNK-FM ( “Link” 107.9) “Bob and Sheri” morning show. She was named among the most influential women in radio by Radio Ink magazine, which annually selects the top 100 women in the nation’s radio industry.

Barbara Lash moves off the co-anchor role of the WJZY (Channel 46) evening news with Bill Melugin to the morning show, “Good Day Carolinas.” … Anniversary of note: It’s been 10 years since Bill Walker retired as anchor of WSOC news.
