Taylor Swift Wears Fiance Travis Kelce's Opal Birthstone Ahead of Wedding

Taylor Swift is wearing her heart on her sleeve.

Swift, 36, stepped out with jewelry honoring her fiancé, Travis Kelce, while out and about in New York City on Monday, April 27. For her outing, she rocked opal jewelry, including a Darlene de Sedle bracelet featuring the stone set in gold bezels, which retails for $25,860, and a matching ring, which she wore on her middle finger.

Swift teamed her jewelry with her massive engagement ring by Kindred Lubeck, and diamond hoop earrings ($3,995) by Dana Rebecca Designs.

The singer, who announced her engagement to Kelce, 36, in August 2025, made her look even more chic with a blue-and-white striped dress by Staud ($325). She added a pop of color to her outfit with a bright yellow $9,500 Dior purse finished with gold charms. Swift completed her ensemble with Christian Louboutin sandals.

Swift previously opened up about the significance that opal has in her life while doing press for her latest album, Life of a Showgirl, in which she has a song titled "Opalite," in honor of Kelce.

"He loves that one," Swift gushed to the U.K.'s Capital FM radio station. "I have favorite words, favorite phrases [and] things I'll put in an endless file of lyrics that I'm constantly going to go and cherry-pick from when I'm writing," she said, noting that at one point, "opalite" got added to her list.

She explained, "I had learned that it's actually a man-made opal. Opal can be man-made just like diamonds, and so, Travis' birthstone is an opal. I've always fixated on that, [and] I've always loved that stone."

Swift continued, "I thought it was kind of a cool metaphor that, like, it's a man-made opal and happiness can also be man-made, too. That's what the song is about, the juxtaposition of those two."
