Travis Kelce ‘Can't Wait' for His Wedding, Gets Advice From Rory McIlroy

Travis Kelce gushed about his upcoming nuptials and got some advice from Rory McIlroy about how to throw an unforgettable party.

McIlroy, 35, appeared on Travis, 36, and brother Jason Kelce's "New Heights" podcast on Wednesday, May 6, where he regaled the hosts with stories from his Masters Champions Dinner last month, which McIlroy earned for winning the 2025 Masters Tournament.

"It's an incredible night to be sitting in that room," McIlroy said. "It's a bit like - and Travis, you'll feel this this year whenever you're sitting at your wedding - you have all the people in a room … it's amazing to have all these people in the same room. You're just sitting there and it's surreal. It's unbelievable."

He added, "The only thing I can compare it to is your wedding day because it's this collection of people in the same room. It's wild."

"I can't wait," Travis responded.

Travis and his fiancée, Taylor Swift, are expected to get married this year, though details have been kept under wraps.

The previous year's Masters winner gets to host a dinner before the start of the following year's tournament. As a back-to-back winner at the 2026 Masters Tournament, McIlroy will get to host another dinner before the start of next year's event.

"I think everyone enjoyed the dinner," McIlroy said. "I tried to do enough dishes that would please everyone."

McIlroy's menu included rock shrimp tempura, grilled elk sliders, yellowfish tuna carpaccio, wagyu filet mignon and sticky toffee pudding.

The golfer added, "I'm a big wine guy - I collect wine and I have for, like, the last 10 years - so the wine selection was something that was pretty important to me."

"You gotta give me your wine choice, though," Travis said. "What are we doing for our favorite kind of wine for a celebration? Where are we going?"

McIlroy told Travis that French Bordeaux is his "go-to."

"On it!" Travis said. "Deal. Simple."

McIlroy got married to his wife, Erica Stoll, in 2017. After McIlroy filed for divorce in May 2024, he withdrew the petition just weeks later. The couple share a daughter, Poppy, who was born in August 2020.

During his victory speech after winning his second consecutive Masters Tournament last month, McIlroy thanked both Erica, 38, and Poppy for their patience.

"They have to put up with me at home and, trust me, sometimes that's a tough thing to do," McIlroy said. "But they have been my biggest supporters."
