Inside Jessica Simpson's 'Low-Key' Romance With Tom Eisenhood
Jessica Simpson's romance with boyfriend Tom Eisenhood is still heating up.
"Tom was on tour with Jessica on and off for the past few months," a source exclusively tells Us Weekly of the couple's dynamic.
Simpson and Eisenhood, who is a musician and tour manager, were linked earlier this year and have been together for several months.
"Tom has been in the music industry for a long time," the source explains of the Nashville-based audio engineer, who is a member of the band Stoop Kids. "He tours a lot, so they spent a lot of time together by working closely."
The insider adds, "He is a very low-key guy and Jessica likes that about him."
Earlier this year, Simpson announced seven summer 2026 tour dates, kicking off with a May 23 event at the Hard Rock Live in Oklahoma. Looking ahead, she has one more stop in Mexico City on October 1.
Her connection with Eisenhood marks Simpson's first relationship since her split from Eric Johnson. Simpson and Johnson, who share daughters Maxwell, 13, and Birdie, 6, and son Ace, 12, tied the knot in 2014. Last year, Simpson revealed that she and Johnson had separated after more than a decade of marriage.
"Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage," the singer told Us in a statement in January 2205. "Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family."
Following the breakup, Simpson put her focus on her music following a 15-year hiatus. The "Irresistible" singer released two EPs, Nashville Canyon: Part I and Nashville Canyon: Part 2, late that year.
"The songs kept coming, I was so inspired, it was such a beautiful moment. But within that moment, my life turned upside down and there was no way I was going to let it keep me from my purpose," she said about her return to music while performing at SXSW. "There was no way I was going to let the light go dim. I've done that before and it really only held me back and made me so insecure."
Amid their split, Simpson and the former tight end reconnected multiple times. The pair celebrated Thanksgiving together and supported Jessica's sister, Ashlee Simpson, who also returned to music and had a residency in Las Vegas. While fans speculated if Simpson and Johnson were reconciling, an additional source told Us in December 2025 that was not the case.
"They're not considering getting back together, but they have love and respect for each other," the insider told Us, adding that the exes "are in no rush to file for divorce," as they are "focusing on their kids right now and will always put them first."
