Does anyone else have a mom who’s impossible to shop for sometimes? Every Mother’s Day, I try to think of ways I can top last year’s gift. And when in doubt, I make my mom a basket with all of her favorite skincare, hair and beauty products, each more extravagant than the last. So, this Mother’s Day, I’ll be doing the same thing with a new set of products. Some are splurges that she’s running out of and some are her everyday staples, but they’re all things she loves using. If you’re wondering what to give your mom on May 11, here’s everything I use to assemble my mom’s beauty baskets.

  1. My mom loves this Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, and yours will too. The ultra-slim pencil is ideal for outlining her brows and mimicking the natural hairs.
  1. Pair the Brow Wiz pencil with this Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer, which she can use for detailing and defining her brows. It’s fade resistant and easily glides across the hairs, and it has three different-sized edges for added versatility.
  1. If your mom loves a good face mask, like mine, this medicube Collagen Jelly Cream Mask will give her skin a radiant glow. It helps to minimize wrinkles, promote firm skin and reduce hyperpigmentation.
  1. This Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation is so good that I stole it from my mom’s bathroom. It stays on for up to 24 hours and doesn’t crease like other foundation products do, and it controls oil to give her skin a matte look.
  1. Complete her makeup routine with this Airspun Loose Translucent Powder. This lightweight powder has a talc-free formula that helps reduce creasing and keeps makeup shine free.
  1. When in doubt, I can always gift my mom her favorite lip gloss, which is this Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb. Infused with shea butter, it conditions her lips and gives them a shimmery, glossy finish.
  1. This Too Faced Born This Way Concealer will provide Mom with full coverage under her eyes and over blemishes and wrinkles. With over 30 shades available, she can use this hydrating and long-lasting concealer to highlight, contour and retouch.
  1. Crafted with nourishing ingredients including coconut oil, caffeine-rich guarana and cupuaçu butter, this Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream will give her smooth, visibly tightened skin. Plus, it smells like a tropical vacation mixed with pistachio and caramel notes.
  1. My mom loves any and everything from Pattern Beauty, and she can’t get enough of the Pattern Beauty Leave-In Conditioner. Made with rich ingredients, including avocado, almond and coconut oils, it defines her coils and brings moisture to her strands.
  1. This SeoulCeuticals Snail Mucin Moisturizer Cream is a staple in my mom’s skincare routine. She uses it twice a day and her skin is left baby-smooth and soft. It also brightens her skin and minimizes fine lines.
  1. With summer approaching, I’ve ordered more of this HaruHaru Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airylift SPF 50+ Sunscreen, which is my mom’s favorite. Compatible with all skin types, this black rice-infused sunscreen leaves a dewy and moisturized glow.
  1. Mom can never have too many lip liners, and I’ll be including this The Lip Bar Straight Line Lip Liner in her Mother’s Day beauty basket. Easy to use and enriched with aloe vera and jojoba oil, this highly pigmented liner glides on effortlessly and is smudge free.
  1. Recently, my mom has hopped on the Korean skincare trend, and she loves this COSRX Glass Skin Starter Set. It includes two snail mucin essence serums and a retinol cream to hydrate, firm and cleanse her skin.
  1. Another K-beauty favorite that I’ll be adding to her gift basket is the Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum. Made with a blend of rice and alpha-arbutin, it helps reduce her dark spots and deeply hydrate her skin.
  1. Sure, she can remove her makeup with wipes, but this DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is even better. It removes all traces of makeup that wipes and other products leave behind. Plus, it will leave her skin feeling soft and radiant.
