Baking isn’t just a hobby — for me, it’s a way of life. I’m always whipping up something sweet, whether it’s a cake, a batch of cookies or even homemade whipped cream for my daily cup of matcha. If you’re an avid baker like me, then you know the value of a decent mixer, and sometimes a hand mixer just isn’t enough.

This KitchenAid Artisan Mini Stand Mixer is my go-to for all of my favorite recipes, and it’s currently on sale for a rare discount of over 20% off ahead of Presidents’ Day. Here’s why I think it’s worth the investment.

I live in a small apartment and have a small kitchen, which means less countertop space for my appliances. At 3.5 quarts, this small-but-mighty KitchenAid mixer fits perfectly on my counter. And when I tell you that this mixer works like a charm, I seriously mean it.

This KitchenAid can mix up to five dozen cookies in a single batch, and you can also use it for things like pizza dough, cake batter, whipped cream and icing. It’s super durable and comes with three attachments: a paddle, a whisk and a dough hook. You can also purchase different attachments to make fresh pasta, burgers and meatballs, ice cream, juice and shredded cheese. With its tilt-head design, it’s easy to add ingredients to the bowl, and there are 10 different mixing speeds to choose from.

Recently, I’ve used my mixer to make strawberry pound cake, gingerbread cheesecake cookies (thank you, TikTok) and a banana chai whipped cream (for my matcha, of course).

Even if you’re not an experienced baker, this mixer comes in handy, especially for baking for the kids, friends and family. “I have always wanted one of these. I thought it was jewelry for my kitchen. I finally decided my cooking needs met the price tag. It’s better than I could have dreamed,” says one Amazon reviewer. “It is a fabulous machine. Works seamlessly. Quiet. Smooth. Heavy. Beautiful machine.”

There’s no better feeling than seeing a mixer perfectly blend together a batch of chocolate chip cookies or some delicious cake batter. Besides, we all deserve a little sweet treat in our lives. So, save big on this small appliance before Presidents’ Day and treat yourself to delicious home baked goods with this KitchenAid mini stand mixer.
