Mooresville police report armed robbery at QuikTrip gas station

Mooresville police released images of a man they say robbed the QuikTrip gas station located at 161 W. Plaza Drive early Thursday.

Police say a store employee told them a white male entered the store just before 2:30 a.m., displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register.

The suspect left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Suspect is described as a white male approximately 6 ft. tall wearing light colored shorts, green shirt, dark colored jacket, a dark ball cap and tennis shoes. The suspect’s face was covered with a bandana or cloth.
