Miami dominates UNC on national TV. Tar Heels fans aren’t happy
From the start of Thursday’s nationally-televised game, it was clear that it was not going to be UNC’s night. And a season that is quickly getting away from Larry Fedora’s Tar Heels only got worse.
Miami absolutely dominated the Tar Heels, winning XX-XX and exposing all of UNC’s warts for ESPN’s national audience to see. The only good news? With two of the NFL’s best teams -- Rams and Vikings -- playing over on Fox, perhaps some fans changed the channel early.
And this photo pretty much summed up the Tar Heels’ night.
A few facts:
▪ Miami scored the most points on an ACC team in conference play in 13 years. The Hurricanes led 33-10 at halftime.
▪ UNC tried two quarterbacks, Nathan Elliott and Chazz Surratt, and neither could do very much.
Here’s a sampling of reaction from Tar Heel nation.
