If you haven’t tried it, we say turn off that tube television, hang up the rotary phone, put away the Atari and get with it. In fact, if you’re new to Uber, we have a deal: Buy this $10 Dealsaver and get $15 off your first two Uber rides.
I admit to my share of epic evenings made more enjoyable by a wonderful Uber driver. I also admit that I’ve never heard the following conversations in an Uber car:
“Dude, where’s my car?”
Door to door, you’ll know exactly where your Uber ride is. After you one-touch order
You can also see how many minutes until your ride arrives – good to know when you realize that skirt really isn’t working with that top. Plus, you can view the make and model of the car and a picture of the driver. No mistaking your new neighbor for your ride. Sorry, Bob!
“I wish I didn’t have to carry around all these dollar bills (y’all).”
With Uber there’s no need to carry cash. When you create an account, you select which form of payment jives with you – including traditional debit/credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Wallet.
If you want to spend all your Benjamins, Lincolns, Washingtons and whoever else is sitting in your back pocket on pumpkin-flavored IPAs and chocolate martinis, we say go for it. You’ll probably even have extra for a second cocktail – Uber is usually cheaper than a taxi.
“I just got paid, it’s Friday night and now I have no money.”
Using Uber’s Fare Estimator, you’ll know the total fare before you get in the car. Plus Uber lets you split the cost easily so Debbie can finally pay her share (for once).
“Where did we go last night?”
Whether you want to remember or not, after each trip Uber electronically sends you valuable information about your outing, including where your driver took you, how long it took to get there and how much it cost.
These little bits of trivia also offer insight about how you lost your tooth. (Hint: It wasn’t us.)
“This Uber thing is only for party-goers and young people.”
We say no way, Grandpa (just kidding). Uber is the perfect beginning and ending to a night out with the family, a quick and affordable trip to the airport or a carefree and much needed date night with the SO.
Plus, you deserve it! Act like you’ve made it and order the Uber Luxury car. It’s up to you whether you reveal the car isn’t yours.
The Dealsaver
Don’t swear off sandwiches! Try Uber today. Grab this $10 deal from Dealsaver and get $15 off your first two rides.
