Charlotte Auto Show: Good; Bathing with cell phone: Bad
Who doesn’t love one-stop shopping?
Some one-stop shopping is brilliant, like the Charlotte International Auto Show Nov. 19-22 at the Charlotte Convention Center. Whether you’re looking for a new car or want to be surrounded by the new car smell, you don’t want to miss one of the largest car shows in the country.
Unfortunately, you can’t apply the Auto Show one-stop principal to everything. Some combinations just don’t mix:
Bad: Holiday shopping and your workout place
We know you want to get a head start on your holiday shopping without skipping your favorite workout, but purchasing Crossfit classes for your best buds will most likely result in loss of friends. May we suggest an Elf on the Shelf calendar?

Good: Charlotte International Auto Show and car shopping
If you are looking for a new car, this show is the perfect place to put all that Internet research to the test. You will find close to six football fields of cars, trucks, SUVs, sedans and everything in between. We’re talking one of the largest car shows in the country! Take a look at the amazing automobiles and kick the tires – actually, don’t, they don’t like that – and spend some quality time with your next set of wheels.
Bad: Playing on your cell phone and taking a bath
What could be better than trying to beat your Candy Crush record while having a nice soak? Lots of thing … like using rice in your favorite jambalaya recipe instead of as a last-ditch effort to save the phone.
Why one should always keep rice in your house! Yes, that is my cell phone! pic.twitter.com/zuZRc1DGkx — Mary Bonner (@TheMaryBonner) October 6, 2015
Good: Charlotte International Auto Show and family time
You want to see the coolest, newest 2016 cars but quality time with the family is important too. You can do both at the Auto Show. You can take a test drive and with all the options for back seat entertainment, we predict no more “are we there yet” questions. They have food, tons of cars and kids 12 and under are free. Score!
Bad: Proudly wearing your Dallas Cowboys jersey at Thanksgiving dinner this year
You’ll only have yourself to blame when Panthers fever takes over (9-0, baby!) and you’re the one who gets stuck washing all the dishes during game time.

Good: Charlotte International Auto Show and giving back to the community
The car show fuels your dreams and helps support a variety of local charities, including Friendship Trays, Scouts and the YMCA. See full list here. Enjoy the car show and the great feeling that comes with giving back.
In other words, make plans to attend the Charlotte International Auto Show – it’s all good.
