It’s a common question: can I bring my family to the brewery? At D9 Brewing Company in Cornelius, the answer is an unequivocal yes.
Established in 2013, D9 Brewing Company has a great passion to bring the community together. The owners have lived in District Nine for 10-plus years, and chose the name to show appreciation and gratitude toward the place they lovingly call home. The taproom is family and dog friendly with Legos and coloring books offered for children, as well as foosball and shuffleboard for adults. Plus, every Friday and Saturday night, food trucks come to the brewery, as well as live music on Fridays to entertain guests.
The brewery doesn’t only cater to families. A private event space with its own bar is also available to rent for business meetings, parties, wedding receptions, etc. D9 is also stepping up its beer production. Recently, the brewery began to offer their bottles of Hakuna Matata Tropical IPA and their Swell Rider Tangerine Session IPA in Harris Teeters around the Charlotte and Lake Norman areas. Also they have become very well known for their sours, which can be found in countless bottle shops around North and South Carolina.
