Plus, the Billingsville teachers will be trained and part of the STEM Discovery Network. Now that’s impressive.
Health and wellness
It’s a big world out there and Billingsville students are ready to explore! Students will dive into the world of health and science opportunities by going on field trips, visiting career fairs and participating in community activities. Each student will develop critical leadership skills through student-led conferences, presentations and community service projects.
Mindfulness and gardens
The focus on health and wellness extends to the entire Billingsville Elementary community. The school will incorporate the practice of mindfulness to develop attention, self control and resiliency. Staff and students will love spending time in the courtyard garden working together to grow and harvest a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs.
Designed to be different
By integrating health and science ideas into math, literacy and other lessons, students will be ready to compete globally within the health science field. They will graduate with a strong academic foundation and knowledge about the variety of careers available to them.
