The two people found dead from gunshot wounds inside a Rock Hill house on Eden Terrace late Wednesday died in a murder-suicide, officials said.

Police confirmed detectives are investigating the case as a murder-suicide, said Lt. Michael Chavis of the Rock Hill Police Department.

The home on Eden Terrace where both were found was Seymour’s residence, Chavis said.

“Both individuals suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased at the scene,” Chavis said. “Based on the investigation, the two individuals in this incident were known to each other.”

Chavis declined to release any other details about the deaths, citing the ongoing investigation.
