Multiple shootings reported at Charleston, S.C., church

Unconfirmed reports say eight people were shot in Charleston, S.C., Wednesday night, according to the Charleston (S.C.) The Post and Courier.

Police and emergency vehicles were responding to a shooting about 9 p.m. at the site of Mother Emanuel AME Church on Calhoun Street in downtown Charleston, the newspaper reports.
