Four people were taken into custody in Salisbury early Monday after a weapons threat overnight kept the campus on alert.
The college notified students through Twitter about 12:50 a.m. that four men were possibly armed and identifying themselves as students from Livingstone College, which is also in Salisbury. The college advised students to stay in their rooms in the residence hall.
Just after 6:30 a.m., the college announced that the suspects had been detained about 3:30 a.m. and they could resume normal activities, according to WBTV.
No injuries were reported. Sgt. Brandon Casper with the Salisbury Police Department said four males had been arrested after an incident involving students, but he had no details on their identifications or charges.
