Lancaster Mayor Joe Shaw passes away at 81

A city administrator has confirmed the longest-serving mayor of Lancaster passed away Sunday.

Mayor Joe Shaw, 81, died Sunday morning, according to the Herald’s news partner WSOC-TV.

Shaw served as mayor of the city of Lancaster for 26 years.
