Trailer stolen from York Baptist Association recovered, another stolen in Rock Hill
A trailer stolen from the York Baptist Association was recovered Tuesday.
On Sunday evening, someone stole a $3,500 trailer from the association on Museum Road. The trailer was left unlocked. The church uses its trailers for block parties, fall festivals and outreach events. It also lends them to the American Red Cross and emergency management officials for crisis issues.
Tuesday afternoon, police responded to the K.E.D. Plasma construction site on Cherry Road in reference to a utility trailer left on their property, according to a Rock Hill Police report. After checking the VIN number through dispatch, police confirmed that it was the stolen trailer.
Another trailer was also reported stolen Sunday from a Rock Hill home.
A 51-year-old Rock Hill man told York County Sheriff’s deputies his 10-foot x 6-foot dark gray utility trailer was stolen from his Lesslie Woods Court residence. It contained $200 in diesel fuel.
