Vintage Charlotte’s July 25 pop-up market with more than 80 vintage and handmade vendors at 2205 N. Tryon St., 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Free admission. (Early-bird opening, 10-11 a.m.: $5; VIP event 6-9 p.m. July 24: $25, includes food, tote bag, pint of beer.)

Adventure dining
“Microbrews Cruise,” 6:30-10 p.m. July 29 at U.S. National Whitewater Center, 5000 Whitewater Center Parkway. Guided two-hour group flatwater paddle along Catawba River ends at 7:30, followed at 8 by chef-prepared, fireside dinner and tastings from craft breweries (eight samples included) at Ridge Pavilion.
