Man's Desperate Attempt to Save Drowning Rooster Is Making People Emotional
Animal lovers never give up on their beloved pets. Just take a look at the way that a man leapt into action when he realized that his beloved rooster was drowning. He didn't waste any time! People online were so impressed by the way the man tried to save his pet. He was determined to help the animal, no matter how dire things seemed.
Shared by the Hot Mess Ranch in Canton, Texas, the video is such a nail biter! The rooster looked seriously bad in the video. There was a real chance he wouldn't make it.

The man had merely come outside when he saw his pet rooster in distress. Thinking quickly, the man grabbed the animal and immediately started CPR. Working with his sister, the two of them tried for an hour to revive the bird. The sister even grabbed a hairdryer to keep the bird's toes warm.

"It says to hold him upside down and let the water drain out!" the man said, trying desperately to get the water to leave the rooster's body. "Come on, Big Red!"
"We ain't giving up," he shouted.
"He's fighting. He's trying," his sister added.
Thankfully, an hour after the "emotional rollercoaster ride" started, Big Red finally got better. Whew, what a relief!
"Big Red, you cannot float like a duck," the man joked as a warning to the animal. No more trying to jump into water, okay?
People were so thankful that these two saved the rooster.
"May this level of perseverance and care find me if I am ever in an emergency situation," wrote one person.
"I love people that love animals," someone else added.
"THESE are pet owners!!" chimed in another commenter.
While another person wrote "Love you people, don't even know you."
