Bernese Mountain Dog's Strange Favorite Toy Has the Internet Obsessed
Everyone has their favorites-even dogs! For example, when I bring home a new type of doggy treat for my pups, they quickly decide whether they like it or not. There's a pup on TikTok with a unique taste in toys, and his recent favorite might surprise you!
Franklin is a 1-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, who the internet is quickly falling in love with. His paw-rents have been sharing their puppy journey with followers on TikTok, and it's safe to say that life with a Berner puppy is not for the faint of heart! He's a fluffy handful of fun with a little bit of quirkiness mixed in.

Mom recently posted a new video of Franklin playing in the backyard with his new favorite "toy," and it's not something you'd expect to see a dog playing with. The Bernese Mountain Dog was running around with a pickle... and yes, you read that right-a pickle.

No, he wasn't munching on it-just playing catch! Honestly, when Mom first tossed it to him, it seemed like he was definitely going to eat it, but he surprised everyone. Instead, he ran around the yard, dropping it and picking it back up again. At one point, he even got a case of the zoomies-it was clear he loved his new pickle toy.
Did Franklin Eat the Pickle?
Everyone wants to know if the pup actually ate the pickle or just played with it. If you watch the clip to the end, you'll see... he did not eat it! After running around the backyard with the slimy green snack, Franklin decided it was nap time for both of them.
Mom wraps up the video with a shot of Franklin nearly asleep on the couch, with the pickle, still completely intact, resting on the cushion right under his chin.
This TikTok video does make me wonder how they figured out that Franklin wanted the pickle to play with in the first place!
