It's a really heartwarming thing when you have multiple cats, and they not only get along, but they also adore each other. Those simple, quiet moments relaxing in the window's sunbeams or curling up on a brisk wintry day mean so much more when you have someone to share them with.

Father-son kitty duo Khalifah and Egypt are the picture of pure bliss during their nap, and it's giving The Fast and the Furious, "because, family" vibes all day!

I think even a short video like this (shared by @faiza_786x) is enough to send the happy chemicals to the brain. I can't explain why seeing the two cats snoozing makes me smile, but I'm not complaining! Not all felines get along, family or not, so this is a welcome sight on the old timeline.

As cute as the father and son are, there are nine other cats living in the same house. That means choosing the best nap spot is a priority before the others get to it first. Khalifah is the patriarch of the house (other than the humans), and he does whatever he wants. Luckily, he's adorable, so it's all good.

Even dinnertime means this cat daddy is joining his people at the table like a polite little gentleman.

Why Two Cats Are Better Than One

Though Khalifa has a house full of furry friends, even just adding one more feline to your own home can reap many amazing benefits for the resident house cat. When you've got two or more, they offer each other companionship, comfort, a play buddy, and can keep each other from feeling bored or lonely.

Cats raised with another are said to be happier, healthier, and more socialized than a solo kitty. Aside from the cuteness overload when they're hanging out together, you'll have the added blessing of watching them bond-and maybe even nap-in ways your heart can't even imagine.

Look at Khalifah and Egypt, and try not to bring home a cat for your cat!
