Macaw Has Cutest Response to First Golf Cart Ride

While we're busy living and doing things, it's easy to forget it's our pets' first time living, too. They want to experience everything they can, especially with their favorite humans, and it's even better if they get to do it with us.

For one Macaw named Hook, that means taking his very first golf cart ride. The precious bird's reaction might remind you of a human kid going to Disney World, and it's the sweetest thing ever!

Nearly a full minute of Hook "ridin' dirty" is a great way to kick off the day! The elated Macaw saying "woo" followed by a funny expletive is so raw and real, it's the reason Parrots are so cool. I'd say his first time in a golf cart went pretty well, so what will he do next?

As one person commented, "Not me yelling 'whooooo' with him!" Another chimed in with "OMG, the cutest video on TikTok," and I fully agree (along with his nearly 33k followers). This one will be hard to top!

Macaws are truly one of the most incredible animals on the planet, and it's mostly because of their impeccable mimicry, hilarious phrases they pick up, and the way they seem to know how cute they are to use against us!

For example, Hook picked up the classic meme, "Hey, girl," and when he says it, everyone falls head over heels, no questions asked. Could you resist this?

Macaws Are Really Smart Birds

Hook is a great example of why these birds are so cool. Macaws are supremely smart, energetic, fun, and curious companions who are capable of learning human speech like it's no biggie. Though not all of them speak as clearly as Hook, others can learn to say 100 to 300 words or more!

They're also one of the longest-living Parrot species with an average lifespan of 50 to 100 years, but with that comes a huge commitment. This bird requires a lot of affection, attention, and cage-free time, usually forming a strong bond with just one person. Though, if you end up with a funny boy like Hook, I'm sure you can get on his good side with another gold cart ride!
