Megan Avera's cat had kittens recently, and they're absolutely adorable. She's shared a few different videos of the new mom and her little ones, but one in particular is cracking everybody up.

In this clip, Megan wakes up to her cat climbing out of one of the pillows on her bed. Mama cat had been busy moving all of her babies into the pillow - clearly, she needed a break. What makes it even funnier is that all of this is happening at five in the morning!

Megan didn't sound too upset about the early wake-up call. Seriously, if we were woken up that way, we wouldn't be mad, either!

Funny Reactions to Mama Cat Trying to Hide Her Kittens in the Pillow

Megan's short clip has nearly 4 million views and over 1,100 comments, and some of them cracked us up. @Daley got more than 218,000 likes when they shared a screenshot of the mama cat coming out of the pillow and said, "What you mean, it's your shift!"

Commenter @ET shared the same screenshot and said, "You mean OUR kittens!?" Another commenter added, "She wants her momma, and the kittens want their momma. This is what being a grandmother is lolol."

@d.garcia1433 said what the cat was probably thinking, "Do you know how long it took me to get them in there!?!?"

"Finally, some peace and qui- omg she moved them all," joked @thegoucks1107. @Kae the Mystik added, "In her defense, she can't tell time."

Cute Cat Clinic explains, "By bringing her kittens to you, the mother cat is showing that she trusts you deeply. She considers you a part of her family and believes that you will provide a safe environment for her kittens. This is a significant gesture, as cats are naturally protective of their young."

Cats also often want you to share responsibility. "Raising kittens is demanding, and she might be overwhelmed or tired. By bringing her kittens to you, she might be indicating that she needs assistance in caring for them, whether it's providing food, warmth, or a safe space."

We're betting this mama cat wanted a break; she just doesn't give any advance notice when it's Megan's turn to babysit!
