'Yellowstone' Actor Joins 'Baywatch' Reboot

One Yellowstone actor will soon be making the leap from one iconic show to another, thanks to the new Baywatch revival. Hassie Harrison has been cast as a main character in an upcoming remake of the original NBC series, which ran from 1989 to 2001, once the most-watched series in the world.

Baywatch, retaining the title of its predecessor, includes a mix of old and new cast members, acting as a follow-up story to the series, which made stars of cast members such as Pamela Anderson. The show, now on Fox, is slated for release later this year.

Harrison will play Nat, "a former foster kid turned Olympic athlete who is the gold standard when it comes to lifeguarding," according to the official description (per Deadline). Described as "brilliant, driven, and fiercely loyal, she's the right hand and closest friend of protagonist Hobie Buchannon (Stephen Amell). Nat holds everyone to the same high standards she has for herself, which sometimes gets in the way of her relationships on and off the beach."

Hassie is best known for her recurring role as barrel racer Laramie across three seasons of Taylor Sheridan'sYellowstone, for nine episodes from 2020 to 2024. Set for Fox's Fall 2026-2027 lineup, the reboot of Baywatch will follow Hobie (Amell), a character from the originalo '90s series, "serving as a Baywatch Captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch. Hobie's world is turned upside down when daughter Charlie shows up on his doorstep eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy."

Jessica Belkin will play Hobie's daughter, Charlie Vale, whereas David Chokachi will reprise his role as Cody Madison, along with Shay Mitchell as Trina and Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad. Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader will play Selene, while TikToker Noah Beck will portray Luke.
