It doesn't matter whether you're human or a dog; naptime is sacred. At least that's what Bonnie the bulldog would agree with. For Bonnie, it doesn't matter what time of day it is; when she wants a nap, she is going to get a nap.

Although it's the middle of the day, this bulldog wants nothing more than to take a nice, cozy nap on the couch. The problem? She needs a human's help to get cozy on the couch since she can't jump on by herself. Even though she asked nicely once, Bonnie is about to make it everyone's problem for asking twice for some help.

Bonnie doesn't care if it's the afternoon, "Bonnie wanted to go to bed," according to her human. Seeking some help to reach the couch (bulldogs are not the jumping type), Bonnie huffed and whined for her human to lift her so she may get some of her beauty rest.

Unfortunately, her human reminded her that it wasn't nighttime yet and that going to sleep wasn't an option. While we don't know what transpired in between, the immediately next clip showed Bonnie taking a nice snooze on the couch, sandwiched between some blankets. We can only imagine that an epic bulldog tantrum happened in between those two clips, and Bonnie's human had no other choice.

Sleeping is no joking matter for bulldogs, who are often labeled as "lazy" dogs. This is because dogs typically need 12 to 16 hours of sleep a day, according to pet experts. Because of their breed, American bulldogs tend to sleep longer, a crucial part of their development and essential for keeping them cute.

Personally, we have no choice but to stand behind Bonnie and her request for some daytime siestas. It wasn't just us; the comment section was also full of users who couldn't help but defend Bonnie's sleep.

"But mommy I need my beauty nap. So sweet, my Frenchie talks like that too," added one viewer. Another user chimed in with the ultimate summary of the situation: "baby needs a nappy." Truthfully, we can't even blame Bonnie, as we believe anyone would get frustrated if someone got between them and a hard-earned nap.
