This Cat Will Use Anything but a Water Bowl-and It's Too Adorable to Miss
Have you ever had friends over when you couldn't find your wine glasses, and to fix the issue, you served them a drink in the most random glass you could find? If you answered yes to this question, you'd probably relate to this cat, in a weird way. The difference is that instead of not being able to find the proper glassware, the cat is simply choosing to ignore it and replace it with a better option. Instead of a water bowl, he's drinking out of an aquarium.
In the video, the sweet cat is standing on a wooden desk, right in front of an aquarium, drinking from the tank without an ounce of shame. When the person behind the camera zooms in on him, he simply glances at them and goes back to having his drink. The fish in the aquarium seem to be looking up, confused. If they could talk, I'm sure they wouldn't have many nice things to say.

The comment section had a field day with this video. "You have your flavored water, he has his," one user wrote. Fair, if we can enjoy an afternoon cup of coffee or tea, this cat should also be able to enjoy his version of a "fun drink."
Another user commented, "Fish flavored and filtered." It honestly makes sense why this adorable cat would opt for this instead of his usual water bowl-much more enriching, right?
"Fish be like: Sir, that's my home you are drinking," a user wrote, followed by another comment, "His plan is to drink enough to catch the fish." Do we think that was the cat's plan all along?
Owning Cats and Fish
It's definitely possible to own both cats and fish in the same home, but some precautions are necessary to ensure that the pets remain happy and safe. Cats are natural predators of fish, and fish feel very stressed in the presence of their feline companions, which can shorten their lifespan.
Even though in the video the adorable kitty is just drinking out of the aquarium, he could easily try to grab one of the fish, since there's no lid on the tank.
To ensure the safety of their fish, owners can invest in cat-proof tanks with heavy lids to prevent cats from removing them. Or even designate separate rooms for each of their pets. This way, both species can enjoy a safe and happy environment.
