Tiny Baby Geese Get Blown Over by the Wind in Adorable Video
Springtime is the perfect time of year to welcome babies of all kinds, but the weather doesn't always cooperate. Between mild temperatures and melting snow, there can also be torrential rainstorms and heavy winds.
One family of geese learned this the hard way at the Great Wolf Lodge in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, on May 5, when strong gusts left the baby birds tumbling all around. The poor mama goose didn't know what to do, but no one felt as bewildered as the goslings as they got their first surprise lesson in flying.

I Get Around - The Beach Boys
Poor things! The tiny baby geese are as cute as can be, but they're no match for Mother Nature. Luckily, the wind gave them a break after a tumultuous ten seconds, though some goslings were much more hesitant to stand up than others. Who could blame them?
Commenter @diamantegrey admitted, "This never occurred to me as something that could happen," and it's safe to say they're not the only ones feeling surprised. It's no secret that baby birds are nearly as light as a feather, but it's not every day someone sees them in such an adorable predicament.

Another viewer left everyone laughing when they wrote, "When my ducks aren't in a row, I'm going to blame it on the wind." Wrong species, but right idea!
These adorable babies may not have known what hit them, but now they can say they've taken flight-even if they were only centimeters from the ground. Their goose friends will never believe them! Fortunatley, no goslings were injured in the making of this priceless video.
How Small Are Baby Geese?
When they hatch, goslings weigh only 3-4 ounces. However, these baby birds are tiny but mighty. Canada geese are precocial birds, meaning that when they're born, they're already able to open their eyes and move independently.
