Having multiple pets always seems like a good idea. They can keep each other company! Sometimes the reality doesn't live up to the dream, though, especially when one animal seems to deliberately goad another.

Brody, the Parrot, took it to the next level. In this clip, he wakes up in his cage and comes out to sit on his perch. It's just a normal morning... at first. Of course, Brody sees the pup pups of the house and starts to sing "Bad dog. Bad boy." The dogs aren't having it, obviously. What ensues can only be described as a symphony of animal noises. The dogs howl along to Brody's melody in the most dissonant way possible.

Despite the racket, commenters loved seeing the beasties come together. "I love your household. Brody really has captured all the sounds, the laughter, and the love. It's incredible," @parlees observed. @ellenpuffe took it a step further with, "My favorite concert, and I didn't even have to pay for it!" The duet was absolutely on point.

On the other side, a few TikTokers noted the chaos of the household, like @Dawn23, who quipped, "I think you guys might need an exorcism!! I have always been very nervous about chaos, but I absolutely love how you function, girl!!" It feels like a bit much, but that's why it works.

Do Dogs and Birds Get Along?

They can! Introducing dogs and birds gets a bit tricky. Pooches are naturally predators, and many have been bred to hunt birds. To achieve family harmony (in life and in song), you need to choose the right breed. Some canines have a strong prey drive and will not work well in a bird household. Many toy breeds, though, like other pets as much as they like humans. Look into Shih-Tzus, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and Maltese dogs.

Finding the right pup only takes you so far. You need to carefully introduce them to each other. This meeting should happen on neutral territory so neither is defending their own space. Also, bring plenty of treats to this summit, for both dog and bird. Finally, even BFFs need time apart. Keep their introductions short and make sure you give individual attention to both.

With the right approach, your dog and bird will have started up a music group in no time.
