Does Victor Wembanyama Have a Girlfriend? What He's Said About Dating
Victor Wembanyama is arguably the most famous basketball player in the world right now. After leading the San Antonio Spurs to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2014, Wemby is in the spotlight for more than just his basketball abilities.
The superstar has a loud personality and isn't afraid to show his emotions on the court, but what we know about him off the court is a little more foggy. Does the 22-year-old have a girlfriend? That's the question so many have been asking as his team is in the midst of a championship run.
It looks like Wembanyama is single at the moment, or at least there is no concrete information on his dating life. He certainly hasn't ever spoken of a significant other, and he doesn't share anything romantic on his social media accounts or when talking to the media. When the Spurs won the Western Conference Finals against the Thunder, fans were looking for him to celebrate with a girlfriend, but again, there was no proof of a special someone.
Wembanyama is already one of the most accomplished young players in the history of basketball. He was the first unanimous Defensive Player of the Year this season. He finished third in NBA MVP voting. He is one of the youngest players ever to lead an NBA Finals team in scoring.
Wembanyama often uses his Instagram to post endorsement advertisements, like with Louis Vitton. If he gets more personal, it's showing fun stuff like what he did over the summer, such as meeting Daniel Radcliffe or training with Hakeem Olajuwon.
As Wembanyama becomes more famous outside of basketball, fans will clamor to know about his personal life even more. Stars like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and the late Kobe Bryant were always very public with their marriages. Wemby looks to be going his own way and not letting us in on the non-basketball activities yet.
