This 2-Month-Old Scottish Fold Kitten Is a Rare Shelter Find and Still Waiting for a Home
A Scottish Fold kitten captured the hearts of the internet after a shelter introduced her to the world.
In a TikTok video posted by the Patty Baker Humane Society in Naples, Florida, the adorable two-month-old kitten, Brienne, waited patiently for her forever home at the shelter. In the video, the shelter introduced her, confirmed that she's a "Scottish Fold," and showed her curiously looking around her world.
In the video's caption, the shelter wrote, "This adorable Scottish Fold kitten is just 2 months old and weighs 2.2 pounds. Brienne is as sweet as can be and ready to find a loving forever home of her own ."
The internet instantly fell in love with the sweet baby, with several people commenting on how adorable she seemed in the video.
"Absolutely a beautiful baby in a perfect little fur coat ," one person wrote in the comments. "God bless you, Angel Hazel, ."
"Me checking GPS to see how far Naples is from Phoenix ," another person who wanted to adopt her wrote in the comments. Another added, "uuggghhh I wish I could take care of all the kitties in the world ."

The sweet update on Brienne the Kitten
A week after the video of Brienne went viral on TikTok, a sweet pet parent took to the comments and confirmed that they took Brienne home with them and gave her a new home and a new name.
"We adopted her today," Brienne's new family wrote in the comments. "We named her Hazel bean, she's so sweet!!! We love this humane society, and it's a great place to get cats, dogs, etc."
Her parents also shared a photo of the newly-named Hazel at her new home, cozied up in a bed at her forever home. They also created a brand new Instagram account for sweet Hazel, updating the world on her progress and her new life with her family.
Some of the posts on Instagram include Hazel napping with her new family, along with her love of "turkey, and her "midnight zoomies."
They also revealed that Hazel has become a "D1 napper" and added that sweet "Hazel Bean takes her naps very seriously.
