Dads! This book is for you. It’s my long-shot attempt to help you be less embarrassing and cut down on your epic fails…
As with my first book, this one is inspired by the community that’s formed around my Leighton Show social media channel. What started a few years ago as an outlet to share funny stories from my own family has turned into a platform where so many of you generously share hysterical stories about your kids, spouses, parents and yourselves. Thank you.
Finally, I’m proud to say that I’ve written an entire humor book about and for dads without including a single dad joke. This was a tough decision for me, because it had its prose and cons (okay, one slipped in).
A note from the Leighton kids: From what he told us about this book, our dad is including lots of the dumb dad stories that we have to witness every day. A bunch of his million-plus followers (probably mostly bots) have chimed in with their stories, so apparently having an embarrassing dad is universal.
