The Ballantyne area will get a new bar-with-food, with Gibson planning a grand opening at the end of September.

Morgan Conroy of Bottle Cap Group, which includes a dozen restaurants including Ink & Ivy and Rosemont, said in an email to The Observer that the Gibson, 11318 N. Community House Road, is aiming for a lively restaurant and bar atmosphere, with an outdoor patio and a rooftop bar.

The Gibson goes into the space that had been Brazwell Premium Pub in Ballantyne.

“We have local beers on tap, a creative cocktail menu, milkshake counter for adults and kids – and an old-school atmosphere that makes us the ideal neighborhood bar,” Conroy wrote.

Menus shared by Conroy show a price range of $7 to $13 for starters, $9 to $13 for tacos, $10 to $13 for burgers and wraps, $10 to $16 for sandwiches, and $12 to $16 for plates. There’s also a brunch menu of $9 to $12.
