Dean Mullis: Cows need to be on the right side of the fence
I was mending fences with my dad and I don’t mean that metaphorically. I was actually stringing and stretching barbed wire and driving in metal t-posts.
A neighbor had called him Thursday to tell him his cows were in their wheat field and he wanted to get that problem fixed. I had planned to cut up chickens on Friday but cows need to be on the right side of the fence.
My dad turned 79 in December and does not much care to drive metal t-posts anymore so I went to assist.
For those of you that think otherwise, I am good for something...
