It’s official: Carolinas have Good Food
Seven Carolinas food companies won awards last week at the 2016 Good Food Awards in San Francisco, which honor tasty and sustainable local foods. Carolinas winners: Fullsteam Brewery in Durham, Goat Lady Dairy, Brasstown Chocolate in Winston-Salem, Escazu Chocolate in Raleigh, Farmer’s Daughter and Two Chicks Farm of Hillsborough and Salute! of Greer, S.C.
Check your Trader Joe’s cashews
Bags of raw cashew pieces from Trader Joe’s have been recalled because they might be contaminated with salmonella. The bags have the bar code number 00505154 and “Best Before 07.17.2016TF4.” Return the bags to the store for a refund.
