Mama Ricotta’s

The patio at Mama Ricotta’s (601 King’s Dr.) will be closed for about a month due to shopping center renovations.

The Fig Tree Restaurant

The Fig Tree Restaurant (1601 E. 7th St.) is selling baked goods from pastry chef Samantha Ward to benefit Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte. Call 704-332-3322 to order chocolate chip cookies, brownies and other sweets by April 25. Items will be ready for pick up on April 30 from noon - 3 p.m.

The Asbury

The Asbury (235 N. Tryon St.) will host an NC beer collaborative dinner on April 26. Chef Chris Coleman of The Asbury and Highland Restaurant’s chef Kyle McKnight and Fullsteam Brewery will team for the five course meal with beer pairings for $65 per guest. Reservations: 704-342-1193.

Corkbuzz

Corkbuzz (4905 Ashley Park Lane) will host a Luli Wines dinner with Master Sommelier Sara Floyd on April 26. Chef Allen Evans will serve four courses with pairings for $75 per person. Reservations: 704-625-1328.

The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar

Cowfish (4310 Sharon Road) has a new sushi roll developed by PGA Tour player Webb Simpson and master sushi chef Rifali Almunir. The roll features tuna and salmon and is topped with whitefish nigiri to resemble a golf ball. Through June 15, The Cowfish will donate a percentage of the sales of the roll to Beds for Kids.

Village Tavern

Village Tavern (4201 Congress St.) will host Beers & Bites with Olde Mecklenburg Brewery on May 12 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Cost is $25 per person. Reservations: 704-552-9983.

Tupelo Honey Café

Tupelo Honey (1820 South Blvd.) celebrates Beer Week with pint glasses for a penny with purchase of a full priced beer and a small plate through April 24.

BLT Steak

BLT Steak (110 N. College St.) is now offering $5 bites in the bar from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. weekdays. On the menu: steak sliders, mini crab cakes and more. On Mother’s Day, BLT Steak will be open for breakfast from 7 a.m. - 11 a.m. and for brunch from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Reservations: 704-972-4380.

Aix en Provence (545-B Providence Road) will serve brunch from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. The three course menu is $40 per person. Reservations: 704-332-1886.
