UNC Nutrition Research Institute seeking volunteers

The UNC Nutrition Research Institute in Kannapolis is recruiting volunteers for a study to find out if various fruits and vegetables or their extracts will activate the antioxidant response. Researchers are looking for males and females, ages 21 to 45, with body mass index between 18.5 and 27.

Volunteers will be asked to come to the North Carolina Research Campus, 500 Laureate Way, Kannapolis, for three days over a four-week period to give blood and consume meals provided by the institute. They will receive up to $600.
