Charlotte-area yoga studios raise money for veterans group

Four Charlotte-area yoga studios are partnering with the Veterans Yoga Project as part of a national fundraising campaign during the week of Veterans Day, Nov. 6-15. The Veterans Yoga Project is a nonprofit charity supporting the mindful use of yoga therapy to aid recovery and resilience among veterans and their families and communities. Donations will be accepted at these classes and studios:

▪ Nov. 6, 6 p.m., NoDa Yoga, 3201 N. Davidson St., Suite B, 704-560-6144, www.nodayoga.com.

▪ Nov. 6, 6:30 p.m., The Bindu Yoga, 20100 Zion Ave., Cornelius, 704-237-3635, www.thebindu.com.

▪ Nov. 13, 6 p.m., Simply Yoga of Belmont, 65 Glenway St., Belmont, 704-266-2641, www.simplyyogabelmont.com.
