Missionaries called: Christopher and Sara-Rose Sykes, who attend Horizon Church, are preparing to serve as missionaries to Taiwan with OMF International. Their four-year term will begin in July. Both fluent Spanish speakers, Christopher and Sara-Rose have been on several mission trips and were appointed to plant a Hispanic Baptist mission in Mocksville. After traveling to Taiwan in 2013, Christopher felt God’s calling to preach the gospel there.
