Rev. Chris Justice, former WCNC anchor, delivers U.S. Senate opening prayer
The Rev. Chris Justice, a former TV news anchor in Charlotte, on Thursday offered the opening prayer to members of the U.S. Senate.
Justice, 47, is pastor of 2,300-member Lee Park Church in Monroe. He spent 12 years at Charlotte’s WCNC (Channel 36).
Besides delivering his prayer, Justice was scheduled to get a tour of the U.S. Capitol from U.S. Rep. Richard Hudson, R-N.C., have coffee with U.S. Rep. Robert Pittenger, R-N.C., and eat lunch with Tillis.
