Charlotte restaurateurs Kim and Jon Dressler plan to open an as-yet-unnamed restaurant in the Waverly mixed use development in south Charlotte, the pair said Wednesday.
The 6,200 square-foot restaurant would join Dressler’s and Dogwood Southern Table, the Dresslers’ other Charlotte spots. The new restaurant will have a farm-to-table menu focus and serve items from Dressler’s in midtown Charlotte and Huntersville, such as apple cake and cheesecake.
The restaurant will also include an outdoor area, and is expected to open in mid-2016.
The 90-acre Waverly development, on Providence Road just south of Interstate 485, is also set to feature a Whole Foods grocery store opening in mid-2016, two midrise office towers, 375 Solis-brand upscale apartments and 150 single-family homes.
Waverly announced several new tenants last week, including a medical office by Novant and several restaurants.
