Law firm Troutman Sanders adds four in Charlotte office

Law firm Troutman Sanders LLP this week said it’s expanding its corporate practice in Charlotte by hiring four lawyers from K&L Gates, including two partners.

The addition of partners Chad Warpula and Kevin Christmas, as well as Brandon Woods and Chris Hartsfield, gives Troutman Sanders 19 lawyers in Charlotte. It opened the office in May 2014 with five partners.

“When we opened our doors in Charlotte less than a year ago, we said that we intended to quickly expand the office, and the addition of Chad, Kevin and their team is an integral part of our growth strategy,” said Robert Webb Jr., Troutman Sanders’ chairman.

Troutman Sanders has more than 600 lawyers in offices in North America and Asia.
