Bill F. Hensley received North Carolina’s Order of the Long Leaf Pine for exemplary service to the state. He directed North Carolina’s travel and tourism efforts under two governors and opened his own public relations firm in 1977 where he continues to promote numerous state travel and golf initiatives.

The Mecklenburg County Bar named Robert E. Harrington, a litigation partner at Robinson Bradshaw & Hinson, P.A., the recipient of the eighth Julius L. Chambers Diversity Champion Award.
