The Charlotte Chamber said Friday that Jennifer Weber, chief human resources officer at home improvement retailer Lowe’s Cos., will serve as chamber chair in 2020.
Weber was named second vice chairman of the business group’s executive committee, which puts her in line for the 2020 position. The chamber made the announcement as part of its fall planning retreat, held this week in Greenville, S.C.
“I am honored to continue to serve the Chamber and further its mission to make Charlotte a great place to work, live and do business,” said Weber.
Weber has more than 20 years of experience in human resources. She previously served as Duke Energy’s chief human resources officer and executive vice president of external affairs and strategic policy.
