Homebuilder David Weekley Homes released more information Tuesday about its SouthRidge development in Ballantyne, where the company is building single-family houses, duplexes and townhouses.

The development is on North Community House Road, next to Ballanytne Country Club.

The company said SouthRidge will include 27 single-family houses, 33 “paired villas,” and 27 townhouses. Sales are underway, with single-family houses priced starting in the $570,000-range, and sized from 2,900 to 3,900 square feet.

The paired villas will range from 2,500 to 2,900 square feet, with prices starting at around $455,000. The townhouses will go on sale starting in early 2018.

A model home (the “Henderson” floor plan) will be open in mid-December, David Weekley executives said. A four-bedroom, four-bathroom house, the model will also include features such as a three-car garage, covered porches on the first and second floors and a “super shower in the owner’s bath.”
