A new industrial park is planned in Charlotte
A new industrial business park is planned for a vacant site in north Charlotte, the developer said Monday.
M. David Properties, a company that develops and manages industrial real estate, bought a 30 acre tract from Kathy Godley at Hucks Road and Old Statesville Road. Real estate records show the company paid $2 million for the site.
“Access to both I-77 and I-485 is less than 1.5 miles from the site. We feel this land presents an excellent opportunity to bring a class A industrial business park to north Charlotte,” said Lorin Stiefel, manager at M. David Properties.
The company plans to build three buildings totaling 300,000 square feet, the first of which will be complete in the first quarter of 2019.
Broker Matthew Greer of JLL represented the seller, while Brad Cherry and Pete Pittroff represented the buyer.
The new development will be called SilverPark North.
