Ellen Maxwell named Gaston Chamber administrative director

Ellen Maxwell has joined the Gaston Regional Chamber of Commerce as administrative director.

For 25 years, Maxwell has been co-owner/director of the Junior Assembly of Gastonia.

She’s a past member of the Gastonia Planning & Zoning Commission, co-chair of the Heart Ball and past president of the Gaston Breakfast Rotary Club.

Maxwell will provide executive assistance to the chamber’s leadership team while helping enact its strategic vision. She will also oversee chamber member-involvement initiatives. Staff report
