Charlotte-based Childress Klein has started work on an apartment tower to be built atop the Mint Museum uptown. The tower will total 43 stories, with 394 upscale apartments. Workers will first erect a crane next to the Mint Museum, and begin construction on the actual tower in late May. The building is expected to be complete in fall of 2016. Ely Portillo
